THE Western Bulldogs Football Club is giving back through its Ready, Settle, Go program.
The initiative, started in 2007, has provided settlement services to more than 18,000 migrants and refugees living in the western suburbs.
Western Bulldogs Community Foundation general manager Kashif Bouns said it was about providing a support network for new residents, including career workshops, language classes, and health information.
Sport is also an integral part of the program, with participants encouraged to join a football, cricket, netball, or badminton team.
Participant Tung Nguyen, who migrated to Australia from Vietnam just over a year ago, said the Bulldogs’ program is helping him feel more settled in his new home.
